Lightweight, strong and stiff rims can be one of the best performance upgrades for your road bike, with reduced rotational weight offering increased speed for less effort and improving a bike’s climbing, acceleration and handling abilities.
Meanwhile deep-section aero rims are designed to offer straight-line aerodynamic advantages for competitive racing, although they can compromise overall handling in crosswinds (depending on rim depth).
A mid section aero rim has aerodynamic properties with only a little weight penalty . A mid section rim is also easier to control as it will be used on lots of different types of terrain and weather conditions.
It is with 50mm height, 23/25mm width clincher rim and tubeless compatible

50mm is a superb wheel for hilly races and attack sprinting. The medium rim depth gives stable handling, and incredible aerodynamic advantage. An ideal trade-off between the aerodynamics of deeper wheels and the stability in windy conditions is a good choice both for road racing and triathon.

Road tubeless is a relatively recent innovation that uses an airtight rim and tyre without an inner tube. You need specific road tubeless tyres and in most cases road tubeless wheels, although you can switch 700c clincher rims to tubeless use with a conversion kit.
Road tubeless tyres can run at lower pressures than most clinchers without the danger of a pinch flat.
Road tubeless rims are becoming more and more popular these years.
Some tips of choosing wheels
1. A wheelset with 38mm depth for cycling along the mountain
2. A wheelset with 50mm depth for all-around cyclist
3. A wheelset with 60mm depth for all round cyclist who seek for more aerodynamic advantage
4. A wheelset with 88mm depth for cycling alone or take part in the triathlon
It is still difficult to decide on which one to buy? Choose a wheelset with 60mm depth because it is the most popular and great one which owns all around wheelset. But if for join in a triathlon, just choose the one with 60-88mm depth for its popularity among the triathlon athletes.
